Sean attended King's College where he played baseball. Starting in 2004, Sean began coaching at Hanover Area High School. Within 3 years, Hanover Area became a championship program winning multiple conference titles as well as making deep runs in district play, while seeing over 20 players move on to play at the multiple collegiate levels including 1 in professional baseball. During his time coaching at Hanover Area, Sean was also a successful American Legion coach, winning championships and league titles with the Nanticoke American Legion teams. After coaching at Hanover Area, Sean became the head coach at MMI Prep in Freeland PA. MMI Prep is one of the smallest schools in PA and the Preppers made an appearance in the district semi final and finals in back to back seasons.
